Service Activities for Individuals
- Organizing/stocking clothing and shoes in our FREE clothing pantry for shelter guests
- Organizing bedding, kitchen, and houseware items for guests to utilize when moving into permanent housing
- Assisting our “Plant Lady” with urban gardening classes for single women or children on our rooftop garden (spring/summer)
- Helping our Events Team throw parties and plan events like Back to School, Halloween, and Christmas

- Providing and serving a special meal for shelter guests
- Helping our Events Team throw parties and staff events like Back to School, Halloween, and Christmas
- Organizing/stocking clothing and shoes in our FREE clothing pantry for shelter guests Wrapping Christmas gifts
Can’t Volunteer on Site?
Organize a fundraiser or donation drive with your company, school, church or club instead!

Note: For the safety of the children in our programming volunteers must be willing to submit to a screening process, including a background check, as well as attend a short training before serving.
